I’m attempting to move Win2K to a new box to take advantage of a faster processor (dual processor actually) and more RAM. I’ve moved the system and boot drives to the new box.

But, I get an INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE blue screen error. I believe that this is because the new box is using a drive controller that isn’t compatible with the OS and drivers as it was installed on the previous system.

Is there a way to get the necessary drivers onto the OS without re-installing?

I could reinstall the OS. But, I’d really rather not reinstall all the applications and move data. Then again, I can’t afford to lose the data that’s on this box.

    Thanks,
    Tim
