    Hi,

I have a research folder on our network that is located on a Samba server. All the Vista machines we have recently joined to our domain fail to join up to the Samba server. In our login script they will connect other drives but not the drive connecting to the Samba server.

If I try to connect to the Samba server using the network path I am prompted for the users username and password over and over. It doesn’t get past this step.

Unfortunately I am not good with Linux, I know very little about it in fact. But as
the pc technician I have been tasked with solving this issue.

Has anyone had a similar problem, if so how if so did you resolve it.

    Thanks,

    LG
