So I had to do a reset of my laptop because it was having some pretty severe issues with a wide variety of things. After reinstalling Windows 8.0, I installed all the security updates available for the PC and Windows Defender. After doing that, I tried to download Windows 8.1 from the store. Didn’t work. Tried it again. Didn’t work. Is it really that much more dangerous to use Windows 8.0 than 8.1? I’m aware that there haven’t been security updates, but have there been any security flaws found that would endanger the PC if I stay with 8.0 ?
