On this volume we only backup 6 business critical folders out of a total of about 15. The reason we backup only 6 business critical folders is because we backup to an offsite data center that charge per GB of data. So backing up non critical folders is expensive and rendered useless. Our backup provider inform me that there software supports SIS but they might need to backup the entire volume. Which will be about 2.7 TB. My question is – In the event of a recovery will restoring a file from one of the folders that contains a linked file to the SIS Common Store successfully recover? Thanks.
