I am not good at understanding how DNS works, so i hope this isn’t a stupid question.

I have a webserver that is not part of a domain. the webserver is a internal webserver only. It can get on the internet though. It uses wordpress, it’s for the employees. They access it by typing in the hostname/wordpress.

i have a computer, the dns is pointing to comcast’s dns, 75.75.75.75, and 75.75.76.76, when i type in webserver/wordpress, the webpage comes up llike it is supposed to.

My question is , who is resolving the webpage? Comcast servers on the outside???

    Thanks
