Office 2003 open files very slow upgrade to 2007 didn`t solved the problem

At the Internet there are some suggestion as:
    1. remove kodak software (or upgrade)
    2. if it happens on network files, check network connectivity.
    3. if it open fine when click on file->open but open slow when double click to open, remove the dde from “file types” -> Doc extension -> edit “open” option and uncheck dde option.

I tried them all, nothing work.
My problem were from : Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack for Word, Excel, and PowerPoint File Formats

after removing this pack my problem were SOLVED. (I wast a lot of time to solve it).
I guess microsoft will release an update for that.
