I published a SharePoint 2007 site on the internet. External users can access the site using their internal AD account. When they use a computer that’s not in the domain, they have to add de domain to the logon name, like mydomainjohn.
Some users reported that it didn’t work. After a few hours searching for a solution I found out that they had to type the domain in capitals MYDOMAINjohn.
I was just wandering why some users have to type it that way, and others can just use normal letters… Someone has an answer to that?
