    Issue 1 :

    • I have bought the current hard disk one month back due to failure of the previous one. Both are of Seagate.
    • My PC stuck up suddenly while working with the noise from hard disk ( clicking noise )
    • When I restarts the PC the PC stops booting after the BIOS screen with the error messages like “unable to load OS” or “disk not found”.
    • If I remove and replace the hard disk connection, it works normally. But, the PC stuck up after 1 day or after few hours.
    • I have performed the hard disk self tests with Seatools software from Seagate. It has passed all the steps.
    • Why this is happening with a new hard disk?
    • Is the issue is with the hard disk or hard disk controller?

    OS : XP SP3
Mother Board : Intel ICH7 family

This is the event viewer report when the PC stuck up :

    • It has worked normally till yesterday. Issue started today.
    • I have two accounts in my PC. One is Admin and other is Limited.
    • Whenever I try to copy files from one drive to another or create a new file in any of the drive, the following error message comes.
