I have a windows 8.1 PC running VMware workstation running a single Windows Vista VM. The systems has a scanner and a number of USB devices. However I want to always have some USB devices always grabbed by Windows 8.1 such as an iPhone. What can I do to tell the VMware never to grab the iPhone but still have it snag USB memory sticks and other devices?

There should be a place you can select devices and specify what you want VMware to do with them but I can’t find it.

    Thanks in advance,

    Joe
