I have set up a new SBS 2003 server as a replacement for my company’s existing SBS 2000 Server. In the process of testing everything before deployment, I have come across a problem with Outlook Contacts. I ran some Exchange mailbox restores from backups of my SBS 2000 server to the SBS 2003 Server, using Veritas BackupExec with the Exchange Agent. When I login as a user on the SBS 2003 Server and open that user’s mailbox, the Contacts I restored have a blank File As: field, and therefore, do not show that field when looking at the Contacts. All other mailbox info restores and appears OK. If I open a Contact and specify the File As: field and Save and Close, then of course the field will show. I’m not looking forward to having to do this for the hundreds of Contacts that my users have in their Exchange Mailboxes. Has anyone ever seen this?
