Server 2003/Exchange 2003 Enterprise Environment running BES Express (user is on BES) 4 Mailstores, approx 60 users.
One user is having an issue with chunks of mail disappearing from her inbox. Usually it is a section between 3 weeks-2 months, all emails in that time. I have checked her PC for an archive, rule and checked the deleted items recovery and can find no trace of the emails. Also check the company terminal server. She claims she does not log in anywhere else. Changed her password to try and get rid of any link that was around.
I did some searches and found no leads. I can restore the emails from backup but am curious as to why this is happening. Message tracking shows the message delivered to the mailbox but does not seem to track them further.
They are missing in all locations, with and without cached mode and on webmail. I fully expect this to be a user issue but wanted to know if anyone had seen this in the past.
