After NFS installation am not seeing NFS sharing in the folder property’s tab! And in this forum some people suggested to stop n disable ONC/RPC portmapper services! hw this possible ?? Cos RPC Service is created only when we install NFS and if we stop this then hw come NFS will work ?? There is no logic in that! Even I tried the option Server Mgr->File Service->Share n Storage Management-> Edit NFS Configuration (right side)-> use service for NFS to share folder Even this option also failed saying NFS shared folder cannot be created! Request you to look on this n help to fix it!! Thanks Praveen Author Posts Viewing 1 post (of 1 total) You must be logged in to reply to this topic.
