I’m currently running Windows SBS 2003 and am aware of its looming end of support life in July 2015.
Due to lack of funds to migrate it to SBS 2012 Essential and also given the fact that we’re a small business with only 7 users and 7 PCs to manage, I’ve decided to do away with Microsoft server slowly one step at a time.
I have a Synology DS412+ NAS that currently serves as a file server. All the shared folders and files have been migrated from the SBS 2003 to the NAS. Files Permissions and Security have also been in place.
The next thing to do is to make my DS412+ NAS a DHCP server.
I was wondering if anyone might be able to help show or point me to the right direction as how to disable DHCP server on SBS 2003.
