    Hi there

I’m looking for the best way to migrate our domain controllers from
    windows 2003 SP2 32bits to windows 2008 R2 maintaining the servers

I have two domain controllers with windows 2003 SP2 32bits, those DC
are also DNS /WINS/GC and had the FSMO roles.

My idea to accomplish this job is as follow:

Prepare the new server with Windows 2008 R2, prepare the Domain to
accept windows 2008, demote the second domain controller and eliminate
that server, assign the old name to the new server and install the
domain controller role the assign the FSMO roles to the windows 2008

After working with the secondary DC, I should do the same steps for
    the Primary DC.

So in essence what should be the best way/route that I should take to
    do this job?
