Can the Active Directory Schema Extensions for Vista Wireless and Wired Group Policy be applied to an Active Directory Forest running at the “Windows 2000” functional level which includes 2003 DC’s?

Most of our Domain Controllers are Server 2003 SP1 including the “Schema Master”. (we still have a couple of 2000 DC’s left to support legacy applications)

We are implementing WPA2, and the Vista Wireless Schema Extensions for Group Policy would be very useful.

    The http://www.microsoft.com/technet/network/wifi/vista_ad_ext.mspx
technet article states that 2003 DC’s are required, but does not specifically state that a Windows Server 2003 Forest functional level is required.

We’d appreciate any insight into this issue.
    Thank you.
