M365 Changelog: (Updated) Outlook: Track Read Receipts within Outlook on the Web and the New Outlook for Windows

Microsoft is developing the ability to view the updated Read Receipt status of recipients from the sent item directly.

This message is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 184504

When this will happen:

Worldwide: Microsoft will begin rolling out early January 2024 and expects to complete by early February 2024.

GCC: Microsoft will begin rolling out late March 2024 (previously early February) and complete by late April 2024 (previously early March).

How this will affect your organization:

When the feature becomes available to you, you will be able to find entry points to the Track Read Receipts view on messages in your Sent Items folder.
