M365 Changelog: Microsoft Lists and SharePoint Lists: Support for thousands separator in Number column

MC234416 – We are providing Microsoft Lists and SharePoint lists owners and members with the ability to add a thousands separator to numbers.

When this will happen

• Targeted Release (organization): mid-January through early February 2021.
• Standard Release: early February through early March 2021.

How this will affect your organization

When Lists owners and members use the Number column, they can now choose whether or not to add a thousands separator (comma) to any number larger than 999.

You might want to notify your users about this new capability and update your training and documentation as appropriate.
