M365 Changelog: Transcription for Calls on Microsoft Teams for Android
MC446130 – Transcription for 1:1 calls and group calls will be available on the Microsoft Teams app for Android.

When this will happen:
Standard Release: Microsoft will begin rolling out in late-October and expect to complete rollout by early-November.
How this will affect your organization:
Users in your tenant can now start transcription for Teams calls and view transcripts after calls have ended, including both 1:1 calls and group calls.
What you need to do to prepare:
You can configure the availability of transcription for calls via Transcription Meeting Policy in admin center.
