M365 Changelog: Retirement of Distribution List(DL) to Unified Group(UG) in EAC and PowerShell

MC455545 – Microsoft will be retiring the ability to convert a Distribution List (DL) to a Unified Group (UG) from Exchange Admin center (EAC) and PowerShell.

When this will happen:

Microsoft will implement this change on February 1, 2023.

How this affects your organization:

Administrators will no longer be able to convert a DL to a UG using EAC or PowerShell, when this change is implemented.
