M365 Changelog: Mover retirement of specific cloud migration scenarios

MC384788 — Microsoft will soon be retiring the legacy Mover tool’s ability to migrate from Google DriveDropboxBox, and Egnyte. Instead, Microsoft recommends using Migration Manager, where it will continue to invest our development resources.

When this will happen:

July 1, 2022

How this will affect your organization:

Effective July 1, 2022, you will no longer be able to create new Mover connectors for Dropbox admin and Box admin. The ability to create new Mover connectors for Google Drive admin and Egnyte admin were disabled earlier after being disconnected by the respective providers.

You will not be affected if you are in the middle of a Mover migration project using any of these four connectors. Also, if you are currently using FastTrack service to migrate using Mover, this change doesn’t impact you.
