M365 Changelog: (Updated) Answers in Viva content in Microsoft Search

Summary

In Microsoft Search, users can search for and find matching questions in Answers in Microsoft Viva and Communities in Viva Engage. Licensed Answers in Viva users can post a question to Answers in Viva from Microsoft Search. The feature will be available in public preview and standard release from early March 2024 to mid-April 2024. No action is needed to prepare for this change.

In Microsoft Search, end users will soon be able to search for and find high-confidence matching questions in Answers in Microsoft Viva and Communities in Viva Engage. Licensed Answers in Vivausers will be able to post a question to Answers in Viva from Microsoft Search.

When this will happen:

Public Preview: Microsoft will begin rolling out early March 2024 and expects to complete by late March 2024.

Standard Release: Microsoft will begin rolling out early March 2024 and expects to complete by mid-May 2024 (previously mid-April).
