MC406436 – Microsoft is excited to announce that early access updates for the 2022 release wave 2 for Dynamics 365 and industry clouds and Microsoft Power Platform will be available starting on August 1st, 2022.

How does this affect me?
This release wave is a compilation of new features that will be released between October 1st, 2022, and March 31, 2023. Customers and partners can opt-in to receive early access updates to validate the latest features in a non-production environment starting on August 1, 2022, 9:00 AM Pacific Time. For customers that are a part of the Microsoft Government Cloud, the option will be available in their administrative portal starting on August 7, 2022, 9:00 AM Pacific Time.

There are many features available for early access across Dynamics 365 Applications and Power Platform. These features include user experience enhancements that will be automatically enabled for users in production environments beginning on October 1st, 2022, per the deployment schedule. Because the release includes features that affect the current user experience, Microsoft encourages application administrators to review these changes to understand the potential impact and determine if change management for new features is required.

What actions do I need to take?
You can take advantage of the early access period by trying out the latest updates in a non-production environment to prepare for the automatic update starting on August 1st, 2022, 9:00 AM Pacific Time. For additional information, please visit the Early Access FAQ page.

Additionally, you can learn more about the latest product updates and product roadmap and share your feedback in the community forum for Dynamics 365 or Power Platform.
