Want to know about the security benefits of Microsoft's E5 license?
MC236114 – Updated February 23, 2021: We have updated the rollout timeline below. Thank you for your patience.
We are updating the web part toolbox to make it easier for page authors to find and use web parts on their pages and news posts. We have added categories, a toggle to switch between a grid view and list view, web part descriptions in list view, and a section for the user’s most frequently used web parts.
This message is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 70668.
When this will happen
The Targeted Release (tenant) will rollout in late January, 2021 and be complete by early February 2021.
The Standard Release will rollout in early March (previously mid-February) and be complete by mid-March (late February).
How this will affect your organization
Page authors will see the updated toolbox when they select the plus sign (+) to add a new web part to a page they are editing.
What you need to do to prepare
You don’t need to do anything to prepare, but you can let your page authors know they will be seeing these improvements to the web part toolbox.
