M365 Changelog: Revamped user profile page in Yammer

Microsoft is launching the revamped user profile page in Yammer to align with the new user experience framework that is followed in Yammer, and also introducing some new functionalities such as a cover photo, list of people who follow the user, list of communities the user is a part of, among other improvements.

This message is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 68066.

When this will happen:

Microsoft expects this rollout to begin in early March (previously mid-February) and expects it to be completed by late March (previously early March).

How this will affect your organization:

Users will be able to customize certain aspects of their profile page in Yammer from the revamped profile page. People across the organization can now view any user’s list of followers and who they are following, joined list of communities and latest activity from the user across Yammer.

What you need to do to prepare:

Nothing is needed to prepare for this release, it will roll out to all customers automatically.
