This message is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 88928.

When this will happen:

  • Preview: Microsoft expects this feature to begin rolling out to Preview in late October (previously late September) and expects the rollout to be complete by late November (previously late October).
  • Standard Release: Microsoft expects this to begin rolling out in early February (previously early January) and expects the rollout to be complete by late February (previously late January).

How this will affect your organization

Today, SSPR and footer hyperlinks direct end-users to Microsoft resources as well as rendering the Microsoft logo in the browser tab. This update will introducing the ability to customize each of these elements and remove all references to Microsoft.

You can start using this new functionality once it is rolled out to your tenant. Your end-users will not see any changes until you enable new capabilities.
