Once turned on, the Mail, Calendar, People, Tasks and other modules will move from the bottom of the folder pane to the left side of the folder pane in Outlook for Windows. This new user experience will also provide quick access to additional Microsoft 365 applications such as To Do, Yammer, Bookings, Org Explorer, and open them directly from Outlook’s main canvas. Users will be able to customize which apps show in this location by pinning their favorite apps.

What you need to do to prepare:
Microsoft encourage the people in your company to try the experience in the coming weeks and provide feedback through the Coming Soon pane. If you do not want your users to try this experience, you can manage the Coming Soon option through Turn off Coming Soon for your organization.
