Upcoming FREE Conference on Identity Management and Privileged Access Management
MC233962 – Two improvements are coming to the Teams feedback submission process. When a user submits feedback, the submission will be automatically reviewed to identify any existing help documentation on the topic. We will then show relevant documentation to the user. In addition, if the Teams administrator enables this feature, users will have the option to share an email address when submitting feedback, which allows Microsoft to follow-up directly.
This message is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 68880.
When this will happen
Rollout is scheduled to begin in mid-February and should be complete by the end of March.
How this will affect your organization
If you have enabled Teams feedback for your organization, users will see the additional help documentation component (if one is found) after they submit feedback. You need to take action to enable email feedback directly to Microsoft.
What you need to do to prepare
Your organization’s Teams administrator must manually enable the e-mail submission field; this is separate from overall feedback. This is done via Teams admin policy management in Power Shell using the AllowEmailCollection flag, which can be set to either true or false.
