MC244059 – This feature update will allow users to select an option to reduce the bandwidth used in video calls and meetings. In a user’s call Settings on iOS and Android they can now select if they’d like to reduce the data used in the following circumstances:

When this will happen
This will begin rolling out and be complete by mid-March.
How this will affect your organization
With this feature enabled, we will deliver the best quality experience for the given meeting complexity (number of video participants, variety of bandwidth conditions, multiple modalities, etc.) limited to 500 kbps on average.
This is a user facing setting only but you might want to notify your users about this new capability and update your training and documentation as appropriate.
