Petri Staff

MC316720 – Microsoft is releasing two new Graph connectors for Atlassian Confluence and Jira.

With the Microsoft Graph connector for Confluence cloud, you would be able to index and search for Confluence pages and blogs from any of Microsoft Search endpoints like Bing, SharePoint, etc. Similarly, with the Graph connector for Jira cloud, you will be able to index and search for Jira issues and tickets.

This message is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID: 86516.

When will this happen:

Microsoft will begin rolling this out in early February and expect to complete rollout mid-February.

How this will affect your organization:

You may configure the Graph connectors from the Microsoft 365 Admin Center. Refer to the documentation page for Confluence and Jira connectors to learn more about the setup process.

  • If your organization is already using the graph connector in preview state, you will need to have sufficient index quota to continue using the connectors.

What you need to do to prepare:

You might want to notify your users about this change and update your training and documentation as appropriate.

  • Please reach out to Microsoft Graph Connectors Feedback if you have any questions.
  • The current Graph connector release support the cloud version of Confluence and Jira. If your organization uses Confluence or Jira Server/Data Center versions, refer to the following resources for how to receive access to these Graph connectors:
