M365 Changelog: (Updated) Viva Insights Updated Homepage for Organizational Leaders

MC672159 – Updated October 26, 2023: Microsoft has updated the rollout timeline below. Thank you for your patience.

Organizational leaders will soon see a refreshed Viva Insights homepage with content tailored to them. This update will only apply to organizational leaders who have already been assigned the Group Manager or Insights Business Leader role in Viva Insights (details can be found here). This updated content will include more emphasis on leader-specific metrics, actions, and articles. Additionally, leaders can access filters on the homepage to toggle between teams, time periods, and benchmarks. The updated homepage will reflect in the existing Viva Insights app in Teams as well as Viva Insights web app.

This message is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 163971

When this will happen:

Standard Release: Rollout will begin in mid-September 2023 and is expected to be complete by mid-November 2023 (previously mid-October).

How this will affect your organization:

Existing users of the leader experience will see the refreshed homepage with the ability to drill down to leader’s subgroups (that meet the customer set minimum team size), time range filters (1 week, 4 weeks, 12 weeks), and existing benchmarks such as peer comparisons. Additionally, the leader will also see leader specific actions and articles.
