M365 Changelog: (Updated) Microsoft Loop – Promote Members to Owners in Loop workspaces – Dec 19, 2024

Loop workspaces will soon support multiple owners, allowing end-users to promote members to owners in the membership user experience for shared Loop workspaces.

When this will happen:

General Availability (Worldwide): Microsoft will begin rolling out mid-January 2025 (previously mid-December) and expects to complete by late February 2025 (previously late January).

How this will affect your organization:

Once available, Loop workspaces will support multiple owners, allowing end-users to promote members to owners in the membership user experience for shared Loop workspaces.

What you need to do to prepare:

There is nothing you need to do to prepare. These changes will roll to your tenant automatically.
