M365 Changelog: (Updated) Microsoft Loop – Microsoft 365 Groups for Managing New Loop workspaces – Mar 7, 2025

When creating a new Loop workspace, users will be able to choose an existing Microsoft 365 Group to manage the workspace’s lifetime, governance, and compliance, similar to SharePoint Team sites.

When this will happen:

General Availability (Worldwide): Microsoft will begin rolling out late March 2025 (previously late February) and expects to complete by late April 2025 (previously late March).
