M365 Changelog: Retiring Stream (Classic) Tab on Teams Chat/Channel

Summary

Starting July 10, 2024, the Stream (Classic) Tab will be retired from Teams Chat/Channel, with a full rollout expected by early August 2024. Users are advised to prepare for this change, which requires no admin action but should be communicated to relevant parties.

MC802005 – Starting July 10, 2024, the Stream (Classic) Tab feature will no longer be available in Teams Chat/Channel. This change is part of the retirement of Stream Classic.

When this will happen:

Microsoft will gradually roll out this change to customers in mid-July 2024, and expects to complete by early August 2024.
