M365 Changelog: Popular Around Me view in OneDrive Web for Business under Shared will be permanently disabled

MC454802 – Microsoft will be retiring the Popular Around Me view from in OneDrive Web under Shared.

When this will happen:

Microsoft will begin rolling out in late November and expect to complete by late December.

How this will affect your organization:

Users in your organization will no longer be able to view files promoted shown under ‘Popular around you’. This will have no impact on files shown under ‘Shared with you’ or any file permissions.
