MC676546 – Updated January 5, 2024: Microsoft has updated the rollout timeline below. Thank you for your patience.
The Hide Favorites feature in Outlook for the web allows users to personalize their folder pane by hiding the Favorites section.
This message is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 167071
When this will happen:
Rollout will begin in late October 2023 and is expected to be complete by late January 2024 (previously mid-December).
How this will affect your organization:
Users in Outlook for the web will have the ability to update their settings in order to hide Favorites if they do not use or want to see them. By default, Favorites will be visible, but with this feature, users can opt to hide the Favorites experience from their view. Once hidden, users can always go back and unhide their Favorites.
What you need to do to prepare:
There is nothing you need to do at this time. You may want to notify your users of this update.
