M365 Changelog: (Updated) Microsoft Viva – Share an Update (Broadcast) Feature for Viva Goals

With the new “Share an Update” feature, leaders can share updates of their team goals to the members of their organization directly from Viva Goals. Updates are sent to users via email.

When this will happen:
Preview: will begin rolling out in mid-October and expect to complete rollout by late October.
Standard: will begin rolling out in mid-December and expect to complete rollout by mid-January.
How this will affect your organization:
Admins and owners of teams will have the ability to share an update to their teams via a new button visible in the UI.
What you need to do to prepare:
No action is needed for tenant admins.
