Microsoft Teams on iOS devices will allow users to change their background to any image or blur it while recording. The feature will be rolled out worldwide, GCC, GCC High, and DoD in late May 2024. No action is needed to prepare for this change.

Users can now record themselves anywhere and share it with coworkers in the Microsoft Teams chat or channel without worrying about the background. Users can now change their background to any image they want or make the background blurry while recording using their Microsoft Teams camera on iOS devices.

When this will happen:
General Availability (Worldwide, GCC, GCC High and DoD): Microsoft will begin rolling out early May 2024 (previously late March) and expects to complete by late October 2024 (previously early September).
