MC402121 – This update is aimed to improve your experience when updating the “Enable logging for meeting diagnostic” Teams settings. Either turned on or turned off, the preference will be dynamically applied right away and will not require a client restart, as it used to.
When this will happen:
Microsoft will begin rolling out in late July and expect to complete by late August.
How this will affect your organization:
The existing experience requires the user to restart their client whenever client Settings > General> Enable logging for meeting diagnostic are updated. With this improvement the settings will be updated right away and will not require a client restart.
What you need to do to prepare:
No action is required. The improvement is delivered for smoother and more time efficient experience when enabling or disabling logging for meeting diagnostics.
