M365 Changelog: (Updated) Dynamic Emergency Calling on Teams Web

MC635983 – Updated August 8, 2023: Microsoft has updated the rollout timeline below. Thank you for your patience.

Microsoft will be enabling Dynamic Emergency calling support for Teams Web. This will allow users to manually add an address on the web client before dialing the 911 call. Since this is critical functionality, Microsoft will be releasing this functionality as soon as possible.

When this will happen:

Standard: Microsoft will begin rolling out early July and expect to complete by mid-July. – Complete

Gov. Clouds: Microsoft began rolling out in early August and expect to complete by early September.

How this will affect your organization:

Users will be able to add an emergency address manually in Teams web client.
