M365 Changelog: Copilot Studio – Agent Builder in Copilot Chat – Feb 12, 2025

MC1003375 – Microsoft is announcing the Agent Builder in Copilot Chat feature for Copilot Studio. This feature enables pay-as-you-go agents for the existing free chat experience for Microsoft 365 commercial users. This feature will reach general availability on February 18, 2025.

How does this affect me?
Copilot Chat users will be able to use the same Agent Builder experience available to Microsoft 365 Copilot users, allowing you to create and use your own agents.

• Users will be able to describe the purpose of their agent in natural language, including instructions such as tone that the agent should follow.
• Users will be able to configure the agent in the configure tab, providing inputs such as website grounding or including SharePoint files and connectors.
• Users will be able to test the agent within the test chat pane prior to publishing.
