M365 Changelog: Get-AdvancedThreatProtectionDocumentReport and Get-AdvancedThreatProtectionDocumentDetail to be retired

AdvancedThreatProtectionDocumentDetail cmdlet from Microsoft Defender for Office 365. Instead, Microsoft recommends the utilization of the Get-ContentMalwareMdoAggregateReport | Get-ContentMalwareMdoDetailReport cmdlet, which is where the company will continue to invest.

Note: if your organization is not using the Get-AdvancedThreatProtectionDocumentReport and Get-AdvancedThreatProtectionDocumentDetail cmdlet you can safely disregard this message.

  • Timing: retirement will begin in early May and is expected to complete by mid-June (previously mid-May)
