MC295017 – In this feature update, Microsoft is adding Visio in Microsoft 365 commercial plans for your users at no additional cost. Visio in Microsoft 365 comes with a web app that offers core functionalities of Visio and allows users to create, edit, and share professional diagrams and integrates with a variety of Microsoft solutions, including Microsoft Teams, for a collaborative diagramming experience.

When will this happen:
Microsoft will begin rolling this out in early November and expect to complete in late January 2022.
How this will affect your organization:
By default, this new Visio web app will be available to all Microsoft 365 commercial plan subscribers in your organization. This web app is not a replacement for existing Visio subscription plans but intended to meet the essential diagramming needs of Microsoft 365 users.
The new Visio web app is designed to provide Microsoft 365 users in your organization access to the core functionalities of Visio. It will enable users to create, edit, and collaborate on Visio diagrams from virtually anywhere, and at any time.

Once this feature is rolled out to you, the Visio tile will be available in ‘All apps’ on www.office.com, or you can visit http://visio.office.com/ to get started.
What you need to do to prepare:
No action is required to enable this no cost feature.
