MC277815 – Known Issue: Duplicate logs in Microsoft 365 Audit Log Search and Office 365 Management Activity API

Due to a configuration issue, customers may see duplicate audit events generated during a time period between 7/28/2021 and 7/29/2021 from the following Microsoft services.

These duplicate events will be seen in Audit Log Search results, as well as the Office 365 Management Activity API.
