The Microsoft 365 Admin app lets you manage Microsoft 365 from your mobile device. You can do every day admin tasks like add users, reset passwords, manage devices, get critical service health notifications, message center notifications, create support tickets and more— all while you’re on the go!

When this will happen

We will begin rolling out in late February and complete by mid-March (previously early March).

How this will affect your organization

In this release of the Admin app, license management has been added. After you download/update the Microsoft 365 admin app from the PlayStore or the AppStore, you’ll be able to manage licenses from your mobile or tablet device and be productive from wherever you are.

As a part of this feature, you can:

  • View all products and licenses for your organization with details such as the number of purchased and available licenses and expiration dates
  • Buy more or remove licenses based on current usage and needs
  • Assign or unassign licenses
  • View and download detailed invoices

What you need to do to prepare

You might want to notify your users about this new capability and update your training and documentation as appropriate.
