M365 Changelog: (Updated) TeamSnap Integration for Outlook Web is being retired

MC399489 – Updated September 7, 2022: Microsoft has updated the rollout timeline below. Thank you for your patience.

Microsoft will be retiring the feature from Outlook Web beginning August 10, 2022, instead it recommends the utilization of the TeamSnap app or going to TeamSnap.com and exporting your Team calendar as an ICS subscription and then importing that into Outlook. No additional investment in this feature will continue in Outlook for the foreseeable future.

When this will happen:

Microsoft will begin rolling out this change in early August and expect to complete by late September (previously late August).

How this will affect your organization:

Users will no longer be able to easily sign into Outlook web with their TeamSnap account to view all of their team events on their calendar, when this change is implemented.

What you need to do to prepare:

Instead of using the direct TeamSnap integration in Outlook Web, Microsoft recommends using the TeamSnap mobile app or going directly to Teamsnap.com to export your Team’s calendar as an ICS subscription.
