M365 Changelog: Microsoft Teams Integration in Open LMS

MC406648 – Microsoft has now partnered with Open LMS to deliver more seamless integrated learning experiences. Microsoft Teams Meeting LTI and Classes LTI apps are now available within Open LMS. Teams Classes LTI enables Educators to create a Team for their Open LMS course using the roster information of the course. Teams Meeting LTI empowers educators and students to access, schedule, and manage Teams Meetings within the Brightspace LMS.

When this will happen:

Microsoft will begin rolling out in late July and expect to completed by mid-August. 

How this will affect your organization:

You will be able to use Microsoft Teams LTI apps within your Open LMS. You will be able to schedule and join Teams meetings from your Open LMS. You will be able to sync your LMS course with Teams classes also.
