MC400205 – The Ranking question type is now being added to the Polls app within Microsoft Teams. This feature is a quick and easy way to increase meeting engagement and collect information from attendees. For example, if you want to poll attendees on how well they understood the meeting content or how satisfied they are with the meeting, you can now do so directly in Microsoft Teams.
This message is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 94764
When this will happen:
Microsoft will begin rolling out early September and expect to complete rollout by late September.
How this will affect your organization:
Users will have a new question type available to them when using Polls in Teams Meetings.
Meeting owners can create and launch Ranking polls and collect input from their meeting attendees, as well as share the results live.
What you need to do to prepare:
There is nothing you need to do to prepare for this change. You may want to notify your users about this change and update your training and documentation as appropriate.
