The Friday Funny: Computability

Did you know home computers can help you keep track of expenditures, the height of your child and how much marmalade you eat?

This 1984 video (cleverly edited here by the folks at Everything Is Terrible), stars comedian Steve Allen, actress Jayne Meadows, and an Apple II. The couple relay kinda-information in an effort to assure viewers that COMPUTERS AREN’T SCARY, and Allen says things like, “Graphics would be the perfect way to show how your stocks are doing. See how they started to rise during the French cat show? And dipped while the missile crisis was on?”Ah, the ’80s.
