I was using VMware Workstation 8.0.0 build-471780. In that version Windows Server 2012 R2 is not support. So I have to upgrade my workstation.
I’m installing VMware Workstation 10 which require removal of old version. But during removal of old VMware Workstation 8 my PC restart automatically & installation can’t be done.
After my PC turned on I check my VM. Not a single VM is open, every VM generate following error:

Unable to open kernel device “\.Globalvmx86”: The system cannot find the file specified. Did you reboot after installing VMware Workstation?
    Failed to initialize monitor device.

Also I can neither install a new VMware Workstation 10 nor delete a old VM Workstation 8.
I try to remove VM Workstation from Control Panel but I received error:

    THE MSI Failed.

Please tell me what should i do?
