On my computer I have Vista Ultimate and VMware Worstation 6.1 where I installed Windows XP. On the virtual Machine, I have a right IP : 192.168.1.102 this machine is called “MachineA-vmware” On Vista (the host) I have this IP : 192.168.192.1 this machine is called “MachineA”. Of course, XP (virtual) when I do a ping or tracert don’t see the host and Vice-versa. Do you have an idea why a “wrong” IP is give to the Vista computer ? In theory should by in 192.168.1.x Regards, Author Posts Viewing 1 post (of 1 total) You must be logged in to reply to this topic.
